Why Not Join Us

The key is working Together

We always have a numbers of ways for you to use your skills - or learn new ones - while giving back to our community.

We are actively involved in Projects, Like Community gardens, Helping schools and pre schools, Community Projects, Toy making, Individual projects, and generally offering help and solutions to the public. There is always plenty to do, and always a helping hand if you need it.

We have a very active Music Group

And a garden group

We firmly believe that you never truly stop learning, and with that in mind.

We regularly host guest speakers who provide valuable insight into the issues that matter to you.

If your just Looking for like-minded mates, If your just after some company and a cuppa, we’re here for that too.
Tuesdays we provide a BBQ lunch for members for a low cost, come on in and enjoy.

The Men’s Shed is what YOU make it.

We operate in an atmosphere of no pressure, do as much or as little as YOU want.

What does the Men’s Shed mean to you?

..." a great place to spend time with friends & peers."

A social & supportive place where work is available but NOT compulsory ... people with a surprising variety of backgrounds, who all seem to want to support & contribute.

Greg, Newcastle Member

"... the Men's Shed showed how supportive they can be."

"In the first couple of meetings I attended it was clear that the support they had in place was fantastic... in March 2017 my partner's daughter was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer... this was when the members of the Men's Shed showed how supportive they can be. The Men's Shed has become a big part of my life."
